Dancing in the Minefields

Andrew Peterson’s latest album, Counting Stars is unsurprisingly exquisite.  Once again, Peterson’s deep and thoughtful songwriting comes through in every song.  One song in particular that has captured my ear and heart is “Dancing in the Minefields,” which tells of the beauty and hardship of marriage…”We went dancing in the minefields, we went sailing in the storm, and it was harder than we dreamed, but I believe that’s what the promise is for.”
